Configuration of a Magnetic Cloud From Solar Orbiter and Wind Spacecraft In-situ Measurements

Coronal mass ejections (CMEs) represent one type of the major eruption from Sun. Their interplanetary counterparts, CMEs (ICMEs), are direct manifestations these structures when they propagate into heliosphere and encounter or more observing spacecraft. The ICMEs generally exhibit a set distinctive signatures in-situ spacecraft measurements. A particular subset ICMEs, so-called Magnetic Clouds (MCs), is uniquely defined has been studied for decades, based on magnetic field plasma By utilizing latest multiple measurements analysis tools, we report detailed study internal configuration an MC event observed by both Solar Orbiter (SO) Wind in solar wind near Sun-Earth line. Both two-dimensional (2D) three-dimensional (3D) models applied to reveal flux rope configurations MC. Various geometrical as well physical parameters derived found be similar within error estimates two methods.
